Is there a possibility the idler gear for the hydraulic pump did't line up right with the other gear and now I have it jammed? It sounds like the starter is hitting HARD on the flywheel, and it's not even budging.
Just for kicks I engaged the PTO, put the front 1/2 of a pto shaft on it and with it supported on the end i put a large crescent wrench and a pipe on it, and stood on it without turning it at all. I even bounced on it.
If I gotta pull the top off again, how do I get the new oil out? I may work on something else tomorrow and get back to it on Sunday....
