THANKS for sharing ... looks like good hay ... like the way you pick-up the hay ... trailer LOW to the ground ..

Nice to see pictures of a IH 440 at work! They can put out a decent bale when set up correctly. Last year we baled some Barley straw with 30kg+ bales. As for hay, we have had some upto 50kg+, but normally 25-30 kg.TSG.

OK; I like that 730, Can't hide that one in the grass haha. Looks like you are on a good start for feed this year. We also have a large Amish community, and farmers here are dependant on their labor also I don't envy the 3 Amish lads that work for the Uncles, as there are 14 9x20 hay wagons loaded with hay baled yesterday. It's not a good day to be in a haymow. There is also another 20a to be baled today.

Someone should teach them how to stack hay on a trailer sure hope they did a better job in the bar or someone could get hurt bad when it all comes down.
Walt
PS nice hay but that IH baler has to go I traded mine in for NH 68 it sure works better.

That is a nice setup. I have just about the same. IH 440 baler with a case 600b. Sure like the independent pto. Traded the 440 for a NH s78. Got tired of those monkey bales (banana bales) lol.

Don't think you could stack those bales any better......sure aren't nice shaped square bales. Maybe the operator shouldn't try to cram so much hay into a block...Just might make a square bale that will hold a better stackable shape. OR.....is that the best the baler can do as implied by your PS

 But then, cows don't care what the bales look like or if they stack well.

I wonder if the plunger head knives could use a sharpening.

Walt they were nice bales and they stacked fine. Yea that darn International baler paid $575 for it and that was 22,000 bales ago!! Lol...
